Israeli forces shot and injured five Palestinian young men, including one critically, on Wednesday night, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Media sources reported that five wounded citizens, one of whom was critically injured, arrived at the Al-Razi Hospital emergency room in Jenin city.
The critically injured young man was shot in the back with live ammunition and the bullet exited through his chest; his identity was not known at the time of this report.
Occupation forces stormed the Cinema Roundabout at the city center while it was crowded with local citizens, and proceeded to open fire, resulting in the five injuries.
Meanwhile, the army abducted the young man Uday Ahmed Abu Bakr, at the “Dotan” military roadblock near Ya’bad town, west of Jenin.
On Wednesday morning occupation forces invaded the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, accompanied by a number of “Eitan” armored vehicles, and deployed infantry units through the streets.
Soldiers stormed and searched many citizens’ homes in the town, including that of the slain prisoner Khader Adnan, and detained several citizens, no arrests were reported.
The army also stormed a citizen’s home in the village of Beit Qad, east of the city, in addition to invading several homes in the town of Barta’a to the west.
In Jenin city, occupation forces were stationed in the Wadi Azz Eddin and Jabal Abu Dhahir areas, amid the prolonged military siege imposed on the city and its refugee camp.
The army continued its incursion in the town of Ya’bad, west of the city for the third consecutive day, detaining young men and invading the home of the town’s mayor, Amjad Atatra.
For four consecutive days Israeli forces have remained in the town of Faqqu’a, east of Jenin, occupying several citizens’ homes.
In related news, the Palestinian Information Agency reported that on Wednesday night, a large army force invaded the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
