Illegal Israeli colonizers, under the protection of occupation forces, attacked Palestinian citizens and their homes, on Monday afternoon, in the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Media sources said that Israeli forces shot four Palestinian citizens when many young men confronted the invading colonizers who attacked their homes with rocks, causing damage.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that their ambulance crews transported four wounded citizens to hospital for treatment; including one who was shot in the knee with live ammunition, another who suffered a shrapnel injury to the leg, and two were injured by settlers’ rocks.
According to Fouad Hassan, a local human rights activist, Israeli forces shot two young men with tear gas canisters, one in the chest and another in the face.
The attack began when Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and citizens’ homes, causing damage, while occupation forces opened fire with live rounds and tear gas canisters.
In related news, Israeli forces assaulted a Palestinian young man while he was present at the Al-Murabba’a military roadblock, south of Nablus, on Monday afternoon.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that their ambulance crews transported a 27-year-old man to the hospital after he sustained bruises as a result of the assault.
