Israeli forces shot nine Palestinian citizens and injured others, on Wednesday, in the governorates of Tubas, Nablus, and Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
On Wednesday night, Israeli forces shot one Palestinian and injured two others during the ongoing military incursion in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), their ambulance crews transported three citizens to hospital, one who sustained a shrapnel wound from live ammunition, and two who were assaulted by Israeli soldiers.
At dawn Wednesday, an Israeli drone strike killed four Palestinian citizens, including two children, and injured in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, southwest of Tubas, before soldiers stormed the camp, accompanied by bulldozers.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian citizens, on Wednesday night, during a military incursion into the eastern region of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Media sources said that during the occupation forces’ invasion of the eastern area of Nablus city, local Palestinians protested in the Balata and Askar refugee camps, east of the city.
Sources added that soldiers opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its ambulance crews transported a young man who was shot in the leg in the Askar refugee camp, and another who sustained a gunshot would to the thigh in the Balata refugee camp.
Furthermore, during an ongoing incursion into the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man, invaded homes, and detained citizens, on Wednesday evening.
According to the PRCS, occupation forces shot a young man in the leg with live ammunition during the army’s incursion; he was transported to hospital for treatment.
Moreover, in the afternoon, soldiers stormed the town of Qarawat Bani Zeid, northwest of Ramallah, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.
Saeed Al-Faqih, a local activist, told WAFA that Israeli soldiers shot four young men with live rounds and assaulted two others during an abduction campaign; they were transported to hospital for treatment.
Al-Faqih added that occupation forces abducted nine citizens after soldiers invaded and ransacked many of their homes, in addition to stealing their gold and money.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces injured several Palestinians, on Wednesday evening, in the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem.
According to Rami Hamamreh, the director of the Husan Village Council, occupation soldiers invaded the town, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.
Hamamreh added that soldiers opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, causing many citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
