On Tuesday afternoon, occupation forces shot two Palestinians, including a child, near the village of Faqqu’a, northeast of Jenin.

Media sources said that soldiers opened fire with live rounds at two Palestinian citizens while they were in the vicinity of the Apartheid Wall near the village, shooting a young man and a child.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), a 17-year-old child sustained two live gunshot wounds, in the thigh and shoulder, while a young man sustained a live gunshot wound to the back; they were transported to the Jenin Governmental Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, west of Jenin city, occupation forces stormed the town of Burqin and abducted a Palestinian young man after besieging his home for several hours, sparking intense protests.

Media sources said that undercover Israeli agents (Musta’ribeen), infiltrated Burqin town, surrounded a citizen’s home, and opened fire at the home, where a “wanted” young man was present with his wife and children.

Sources added that military reinforcements arrived after the special unit was discovered, before soldiers detained the young man’s father, forcing the young man, Saeed Qablawi to surrender himself; the army abducted him and took him to an unknown location.

It is important to mention that the Israeli soldiers fire many live rounds at the besieged home while Qablawi was inside with his wife and two young daughters, and threatened to fire “Energa” anti-tank grenades at the home.
