Israeli forces shot and seriously injured, on Friday night, a Palestinian child in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, in addition to shooting a young man in the town of Orif, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

On Friday night, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers opened fire with live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion, shooting a Palestinian child.

Media sources said that the child was shot in the leg with live ammunition and his wounds were described as serious.

Meanwhile, the occupation army invaded, on Friday night, the viilage of Orif, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, triggering protests among Palestinian youths.

Soldiers opened fire with live ammunition at those who resisted the incursion, shooting a Palestinian young man with bullet fragments; his wounds were deemed as minor.

In related news, a large army force stormed, on Friday night, the area west of Yatta town, south of Hebron, and broke into several citizens’ homes.

Media sources said that soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes in the “Umm Al-Amad” and “Khallet Al-Farra” areas, west of Yatta town.

On Friday morning, the army stormed various towns in the Hebron governorate, detained and interrogated two Palestinian citizens.

Media sources said that Israeli soldiers invaded the towns of Doura, southwest of Hebron, in addition to the towns of Sa’ir and Al-Shuyukh, northeast of the city.

In Al-Shuyukh, soldiers detained two young men, Muhammad Adnan Tafesh and Qusay Issa Tafesh, took them to the “Etzion” military camp, and interrogated them before releasing them.

Israeli forces bombed, late Friday night, a home in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, killing the young man, Islam Khamaysa, and injuring eight others.
