Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men and injured several others, on Wednesday, during a military incursion into the Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem.
Media sources said that a large army force invaded the Qalandia refugee camp on Wednesday morning, closed its entrance, which sparked protests from dozens of Palestinians.
Occupation soldiers heavily fired tear gas canisters and rubber-coated steel rounds at citizens, injuring at least fourteen; all of whom were treated at the scene.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its ambulance crews provided treatment to two young men whom soldiers shot with rubber-coated steel rounds, in addition to twelve others who sustained inhalation injuries.
The Arab 48 News website reported that occupation forces stormed and searched commercial shops in the camp before withdrawing; no arrests were reported.
In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers burned Palestinian-owned homes and vehicles in the towns of Beit Furik and Huwwara, southeast and south of Nablus.
Moreover, the army killed the elderly Atef Abdel Malek Deria, 68, after brutally assaulting him in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
