On Saturday, Israeli forces shot two Palestinian citizens, one near Hebron and another near Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that occupation forces opened fire at a 40-year-old Palestinian man while he was near the Apartheid Wall in the town of Tarqumiyah, northwest of Hebron, on Saturday afternoon.
Sources added that soldiers shot the man in the shoulder with live ammunition, before he was transported to hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews who classified his injury as moderate.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces shot a young man while he was in the Wadi al-Hummus area, northeast of Bethlehem, on Saturday evening.
According to the PRCS, the army shot the young man in the chest and extremities with live ammunition; he was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
The severity of the wounded young man’s condition was not known at the time of writing this report.
Furthermore, Israeli forces invaded the town of Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem, on Saturday evening, injuring several citizens, and forcing shops to close.
Media sources said that the army stormed the town on Saturday evening, and opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at citizens and their vehicles, causing several of them to sustain inhalation injuries.
Sources added that soldiers forced commercial shop owners to close their businesses and impeded the movement of local citizens.
In related news, Israeli forces invaded, on Saturday evening, the village of Jurat ash Sham’a, south of Bethlehem, and impeded the movement of citizens.
Media sources said that occupation forces erected flying military roadblock at the main entrance to the village, stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles, and inspected their ID cards, in addition to inspecting surveillance camera recordings.
