On Wednesday, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man in Beit Furik town, southeast of Nablus, and abducted another after shooting him, in the village of Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the town of Beit Furik, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank, on Wednesday afternoon, sparking protests.


Sources added that soldiers opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters, shooting a young man in the leg; his condition was described as stable.

The army also invaded the towns and villages of Salem, Deir al-Hatab, Yatma, Qusra, Qabalan, and Kafr Qallil, east and south of Nablus city; no arrests were reported.

In related news, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinian young men, on Wednesday morning, after invading several areas of the Nablus governorate.

Media sources said that occupation soldiers abducted the citizens, Nidal Kassab, Adnan al-Koni, Ibrahim Hajj Muhammad, and Mu’in Fathi Qadous, after storming and ransacking their homes.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian young man before abducting him in the village of Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces closed the entrances to the village, before a large army force invaded the village, and stormed a medical clinic.

Sources added that the army shot an unidentified young man, denied him medical treatment, and proceeded to abduct him, taking him to an unknown location; his condition was not known at the time of writing this report.


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that Israeli soldiers blocked its ambulance crews from entering the village, detained staff members, and confiscated their radios.

The army claimed that the unknown assailant carried out a run-over attack, injuring two Israelis near the illegal “Modin” colony, built on Palestinian lands, west of Ramallah.
