Early on Thursday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions, home break-ins, and abductions across the occupied West Bank, targeting multiple towns and villages in Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Bethlehem, Hebron in the southern West Bank, and Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the town of Tammun south of Tubas and the nearby village of Tayasir to the east, where they broke into several homes and abducted three Palestinians.

Saja Daraghma

Those abducted were identified as Hammad Mohammad Bisharat and Fikri Fouad Bani Odah from their homes in Tammun, along with former political prisoner Saja Daraghma from her family’s home in Tayasir.

Before dawn, Israeli forces also invaded the town of Al-Auja north of Jericho, where they broke into homes and abducted two young men, identified as Mohammad Rifat Mer’ey and Ahmad Hani Nawaf Abu Jamous.

Local sources noted that Jericho and the Jordan Valley continue to experience repeated military invasions, accompanied by military roadblocks and widespread abductions.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces abducted two residents from the eastern parts of the governorate. The abductees were identified as Yazan Mohammad Saleh Salah, 28, from the town of Dar Salah, and Salem Naji Mohammad Zweib, 37, from the town of Zatara.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, many military vehicles invaded the city, especially the Eastern Neighborhood, before soldiers stormed and ransacked homes and abducted a young man, Tha’er Lahlouh.

The soldiers also invaded many areas in the towns of Al-Yamun and Silet Al-Harthiya, west of Jenin, before insisting extensive and violent invasions and searches of homes.

Furthermore, many Israeli military vehicles invaded several neighborhoods in Nablus, in northern West Bank, in addition to surrounding villages and towns, and initiative extensive searches of homes and buildings.

Also in Nablus, the soldiers surrounded and invaded the area around the Wanati Governmental Hospital, deploying large numbers of troops who remained positioned across nearby streets, junctions, and sidewalks.

In Hebron in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces continued a four-day military operation in Jabal Johar and the southern area of the city, where they abducted two residents—Ribhi al-Rajabi and Muhannad Kaid Gheith—after breaking into their homes, searching them, and damaging their contents.

The soldiers also broke into numerous homes and commercial properties, vandalizing belongings, tightening the military cordon on the area, and subjecting residents to extensive searches, destruction of property, and mass detentions.

Several commercial establishments were also invaded, with doors smashed and contents ransacked.

In addition, Israeli military bulldozers uprooted Palestinian farmlands in the Rahwa area in ath-Thaeriya town, south of Hebron.

In the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, Israeli forces invaded the town center, spread through several neighborhoods, and broke into several homes, causing deliberate damage before withdrawing without reported abductions.

In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Rima northwest of the city, where they abducted two residents, Rami Ezzat Barghouthi and Hadi Khalil Barghouthi, after breaking into and searching their homes.

Local sources said that Israeli forces also detained several young men from Beit Rima and the nearby villages of Deir Ghassana and Kafr Ein, subjecting them to field interrogation inside the home of Rami Barghouthi after the soldiers occupied the property turning it into an interrogation facility.

Those detained for questioning were identified as: Mo’taz Nasr Mashal, Bashir Zaghloul Rimawi, Abdul-Rahman Mohammad Rimawi, Mohammad Mobtasem Rimawi, Omar Akef Rimawi, Kamel Nimer Rimawi, Yaqoub Thalji Rimawi, Tareq Barghouthi and Islam Hamada Barghouthi.
