Two Palestinian civilians were injured Sunday evening after an armored Israeli military vehicle rammed a public transport vehicle in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin, causing it to collide with another car.
The incident took place on Haifa Street in the western part of the city. According to local sources, the Israeli vehicle deliberately struck the first car, triggering a secondary crash and causing severe damage to both vehicles.
Palestinian medics arrived at the scene and transferred the two injured individuals to Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin for treatment.
The crash also caused a major traffic jam, with witnesses reporting long delays and gridlock along Haifa Street.
This incident reflects a broader pattern of intensified Israeli military activity in Jenin and its surroundings, where repeated incursions, road closures, and vehicle ramming incidents have increasingly disrupted civilian life and endangered public safety.
In related news, Israeli soldiers abducted a Palestinian, Hilal Adel Daraghma, from Ein Al-Hilwa, after forcing him out of his vehicle at the entrance of Ein Al-Baida village, in the West Bank’s Northern Plains.
On Sunday evening, Israeli forces fatally shoot 15-year-old Jadallah Jad Jom’a Jadallah, and injured 2 Palestinians, in Al-Far’a refugee camp near Tubas in the northeastern West Bank.
