Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide series of invasions across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Wednesday, breaking into homes, abducting residents, and firing live ammunition in several areas, according to local and security sources
In Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, soldiers invaded the town, deployed across several neighborhoods, and broke into multiple homes before abducting Motaz al‑Hishlamoun. Troops also invaded a local school in the town, disrupting classes and staff.
In Kafr al‑Lubbad, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town at dawn and abducted five young men after breaking into their homes. The abducted were identified as Muin Osama Rajab, Sa’id Mohammad Rajab, and Emad Musleh Barhoush.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, soldiers broke into homes and abducted Fadi Abu Sunaina and Sabri Abu Asab.
Troops also invaded the al‑Mahjar neighborhood in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded the eastern area of the city from the Huwwara military roadblock. The soldiers also abducted Abdul‑Qader Salah after breaking into his home in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus. In addition, the soldiers broke into the home of imprisoned Palestinian Moayyad al‑Sheikh Yousef during an invasion of the al‑Dahiya neighborhood in eastern Nablus.
In Jaba’, south of Jenin, Israeli forces invaded the town, where Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics reported treating two residents who were assaulted and beaten by soldiers during the invasion, while the soldiers also abducted the head of Jaba’ Town Council, Mohammad Baddad.
Media sources said the invasion remains ongoing, noting that soldiers are detaining and interrogating dozens of men during extensive and violent searches of homes.
In the northern Jordan Valley, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers destroyed crops belonging to Palestinian families in the Khallet Khader area of al‑Farisiyya.
In al‑Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces opened fire during an invasion of the camp, triggering panic among residents.
Several Israeli military vehicles also invaded Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and initiated searches of homes.
In Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, soldiers abducted Mashhour Hamdan and his son, former political prisoner Anees Mashhour, in addition to Ibrahim Hamdan, before withdrawing from the town.
Later Tuesday evening, Israeli forces caused a house fire in the town of Aboud, northwest of Ramallah, after firing toxic gas canisters into the home. Local sources said the gas ignited a blaze that damaged the property and caused several residents to suffer from severe tear‑gas inhalation.
