The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that Israeli missiles and shells have killed 300 Palestinians and injured 800, mainly women and children, in 24 hours.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said the army continued its bombing of civilian areas, densely populated neighborhoods in Gaza, health facilities, and infrastructures.
Al-Qaedra added that, on Sunday dawn, the arm fired a missile at a home for Mahmoud Barhoum in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing 14 Palestinians, including women and children.
He said that the Palestinians are still searching under the rubble of the bombarded home, looking for potential survivors and the corpses of slain Palestinians.
Also in Rafah, the army killed Dr. Salah Zannoun after firing a missile at his home in Rafah.
In the city of Gaza, the army fired a missile at the home of Dr. Amro Ferwana in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, killing him along with his wife and their children.
Also in Gaza, the army fired a missile at the home of Mo’men Talla’, the correspondent of the Al-Hayat Al-Jadida TV in Gaza, wounding him, his wife and his mother, and killing all of his children, his sisters, and his uncles.
In the central Gaza Strip, the Israeli missiles killed a teacher, Asma’ Nassar, and her daughter, in addition to another teacher, Samah Saidam, and her five children.
Several Palestinians were also killed, and many injured, in the Al-Bureij refugee camp and the Zawaida town in central Gaza.
In the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, the Israeli army fired missiles at home, killing 24 Palestinians, and at the Post office near a UNRWA-run clinic that is flooded with Palestinians seeking shelter after fleeing their homes.
The already depleted hospitals in the Gaza Strip have no spare beds or space for patients and wounded Palestinians and are trying to provide medical care for wounded Palestinians in corridors and on the ground. Many medics, doctors, and rescue volunteers have also been killed due to constant Israeli bombings.
Hospitals in Gaza said Sunday morning the Israeli army has killed at least 2329 Palestinians and injured more than 10250 in the first seven days of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza (Saturday, October 7th). Most of the casualties were women and children; among them, ten slain medics and 27 wounded.
Some of the slain Palestinians from Ferwana family, killed on October 15, have been identified as:
