Updated: On Saturday dawn, as the Israeli army continued to fire hundreds of missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the Gaza Strip, including a busy marker in the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, 315 Palestinians were killed, and 1788 were injured.


The Health Ministry has confirmed that the extensive Israeli bombing Saturday has killed 315 Palestinians, including 90 children, and injured 1788, mainly women and children.

It added that 2215 Palestinians, including 724 children and 458 women, have been killed, and 8714 Palestinians, including 2450 children and 1536 women, have been injured as the Israeli onslaught on Gaza entered its eighth day.


Several Palestinians, including many children and women, were killed, and many were injured when the army fired missiles into the market of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

The Israeli army also fired missiles and shells at homes and buildings along the western coastal area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, in addition to the extensive bombardment of all areas along the eastern areas of southern Gaza.

At least five Palestinians were killed and eleven injured by Israeli missiles that struck a home for the Al-Agha family in the center of Khan Younis.

The Israeli army also fired four missiles at a building near the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Many missiles were also fired into areas west of Gaza City, Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, causing many casualties.

At least five Palestinians were killed and many injured when the army fired missiles into the Skafi area in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Palestinian medics and rescue teams continue to search under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings.

In addition, the army fired missiles a convoy of vehicles carrying of hundreds of civilians trying to flee the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip to seek shelter in the southern parts of the coastal region after the army ordered more than 1.1 m Gazans to leave their homes and cities. 

Ahmad Muhanna, the head of the Al-Awdah Hospital in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, said the Israeli army ordered the full evacuation of the hospital in preparation for bombing it.

Muhanna added that the hospital is not the only medical center that received such orders to evacuate.

He also said that the hospitals cannot evacuate the patients, especially due to the large number of Palestinians hospitalized om various units, including surgery wards and intensive care wards.

Al-Awda Hospital is a small private medical center that only includes seventy beds and various clinics for outpatients.

The Health Ministry said Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 1900 Palestinians, including 614 children and 370 women, while the number of injured Palestinians is about 7696, mainly children and women.
