On Monday, Israeli Navy warships opened fire with machine guns, at Palestinian fishermen, abducted five, and confiscated two fishing boats off the the northern coast of the besieged Gaza Strip, local sources reported.

The Israeli Navy fired live rounds at fishermen sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, off the northern coast of Gaza, before abducted five men and seizing two fishing boats.

The occupation Navy abducted five fishermen, identified as Hassan Jamal al-Numan, Muhammad al-Numan, Waheed Kaskin, Salim al-Numan, and Ahmed al-Saidi.

In related news, the Israeli Navy attacked, on Sunday, Palestinian fishermen who were sailing in the “Al-Sudaniyya” area, off the northern coast of Gaza, northwest of Gaza City, in addition to the “Al-Waha” area, west of Beit Lahia in the north.

Sources said that Navy warships fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the fishermen, forcing them to return to shore, abandoning their only means of earning income.

There were no reports of any injuries.
