On Monday morning, Israeli occupation police assaulted Palestinians, forcibly evacuated Muslim worshipers from the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, and abducted three Palestinians.

Media sources said that Israeli occupation police attacked Palestinian Muslim worshipers who were present at the Chain Gate (Bab al-Silsilah), on Monday morning.

Occupation police imposed harsh restrictions on the entry of Palestinian Muslims, denying entry to some, detaining others, and inspecting their ID cards.

Police assaulted and abducted three peaceful Palestinian demonstrators who have been banned by the occupation authorities, from entering the Muslim holy site for varying lengths of time.

Those abducted were identified as Nizam Abu Ramoz, and two women, Aida Al-Sidawi, and Hanadi Al-Halawani, who was forcefully shoved to the ground by police.

Meanwhile, at least 1035 illegal Israeli settlers in successive groups were permitted to freely roam the courtyards under heavy police protection, under the pretext of celebrating “Sukkot”.

Israeli colonizers performed Talmudic rituals, directed insults at the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and provoked worshipers with insults and obscene gestures.

Among those allowed to invade the Muslim holy site were present and former members of the Israeli Knesset.
