Illegal Israeli settlers on Friday attacked and injured several Palestinian citizens under army protection, in the West Bank governorates of Bethlehem, Salfit, Jericho, Nablus, and Tubas.
Bethlehem
Media sources reported that settlers attacked citizens’ homes in the “Khala’il al-Luz” area southeast of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that a group of illegal Israeli colonizers surrounded citizens’ homes and hurled rocks at them in the Khala’il al-Luz area, causing fear and panic among citizens.
He added that during the attack, occupation forces stormed the area, fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards the homes, closed off the area, and obstructed ambulances.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews treated 15 citizens, 2 of whom sustained injuries as a result of assault, while 13 others sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure.
Tubas
A Palestinian young man was wounded on Friday afternoon, after Israeli settlers attacked him in the village of Khirbet Ibziq, northeast of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to Nidal Awda, the director of the PRCS in Tubas, its ambulance crews transported a young man to the hospital after he sustained a head injury as a result of an attack by Israeli colonizers.
Jericho
Illegal colonizers assaulted a Palestinian family in the town of Jiftlik, north of Jericho in the northeastern part of the West Bank, before soldiers abducted two of the victims of the attack.
According to Eid Brahmeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Jericho and the Jordan Valley reported that a group of settlers invaded the Kaabneh family home and assaulted its residents.
Brahmeh added that occupation forces then stormed the home and abducted Hassan Salem Kaabneh and Musa Awda Kaabneh, rather than arresting the settlers who attacked them.
Salfit
On Friday morning, Israeli colonizers stormed a mosque in the town of Deir Ballut, and invaded the village of Farha in the central West Bank governorate of Salfit.
Media sources reported that settlers invaded and ransacked the Al-Salam Mosque in Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, obstructing the movement of citizens.
The sources added that a group of colonizers infiltrated the village of Farha, southwest of Salfit, and roamed in the vicinity of citizens’ homes.
Later, armed paramilitary settlers opened fire at Palestinian citizens in the town of Deir Ballut, and the village of Farha.
Media sources said that Israeli colonizers fired live ammunition towards citizens in the Wadi al-Ain area of Deir Ballut town; no injuries were reported.
According to Mustafa Hammad, the head of the Farha village council reported that on Friday evening, at least 50 illegal colonizers invaded the village and opened fire with live rounds towards Palestinian youths; no injuries were reported.
Nablus
Media sources reported that a large number of illegal colonizers, under army protection, invaded the archaeological site in the town of Al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
