Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child on Friday afternoon after illegal colonizers invaded the village of Qaryout, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot the girl, Bana Amjad Bakr, 13, in the chest with live ammunition during a settler invasion and attack on the village.

Sources added that the seriously injured child was rushed to the Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus where she was pronounced dead as a result of her wounds.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), its ambulance crews transported the child to hospital after she sustained a serious gunshot wound to the chest.

It is important to mention that the slain young girl’s father stated that Bana was shot by Israeli soldiers while she was in her home with her sisters.

Occupation forces opened live fire at Palestinian citizens who confronted a group of illegal Israeli colonizers who stormed the village and attacked citizens’ homes with rocks.

Earlier the PRCS said that its ambulance crews transported two injured young men to hospital, one of whom was shot in the hand with live ammunition, and another who sustained various bruises as a result of an assault by the invading settlers.

Sources added that during the invasion, the illegal colonizers set fire to agricultural lands in the village.
