Israeli soldiers abducted, Monday, at least 23 Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank; 22 of the abducted were taken prisoner after the soldiers stormed and ransacked their homes, and one after being stopped at a military roadblock.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Majd Abdul-Salam al-Jondob, from Deir al-Ghosoun town, in addition to Ramzi Na’alwa, Yousef Mhanna, Mo’tasem Oleyyan, Salah Dheiliyya, Abdullah Nasser, Abdullah Mahdawi, and Ahmad Ekbariyya, from Shweika area, in the northern West Bank governorate of Tulkarem.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Jihad Hathnawi, 34, after stopping him at a sudden military roadblock, while heading to Ramallah, in central West Bank.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Omar Abdullatif, from his home in Tal village, west of the city, and Husam Maher Mansour, 19, from his home in Talfit town, southeast of Nablus.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Hakam Mojahed Abu Roumi and Sayyaf Nidal Abu Roumi, from their homes in the al-‘’Ezariya town, southeast of the city.
The two Palestinians are the cousins of Nassim Mokafih Abu Roumi, 14, who was killed by Israeli soldiers near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in August of this year.
In al-Biereh city, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad al-Mheisri, from his home in the al-Baloa’ area.
It is worth mentioning that, several days ago, the soldiers invaded the Industrial Zone in al-Biereh, before storming stores and confiscating surveillance recordings and equipment.
During the invasion, the soldiers shot several Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets, and caused many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, during ensuing protests.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Raed Salem al0’Atawna, 19, Qasam Haitham ‘Asafra, 19, and Osaid Sabri Zohour, from their homes in Beit Kahil town, northwest of the city.
The soldiers also abducted Mohammad Abdul-Karim Farajallah, 34, and Marwan Hdeib Awad, 40, from their homes in Ethna town, west of Hebron.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted two siblings, identified as Husam Ahmad al-Badawi, and his brother Monjid, in addition to Ma’an Nayef al-Badawi, from their homes in the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
