Earlier Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted 17 citizens and set up military roadblocks in several areas of the Hebron Governorate, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media sources said the soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes across the governorate, causing damage, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, before abducting the seventeen Palestinians.

In Hebron city, the soldiers abducted Yasser Jibrin Al-Atrash, Ahmad Hossam Nairoukh, and Sohaib Mamoun Al-Sharabati.

In Beit Kahil town, northwest of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Yusri Hazem Al-Haimouni.

In Doura town, southwest of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Nayef Rajoub and Mo’tasem Al-Natsha.

From Ethna town, west of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Akram Sleimiyya, and caused damage to the homes of Palestinians from the al-Asoud, al-Jeyyawi, and Abu Jheisha families, while interrogating many residents.

In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Bilal Mohammad Khader Sabarna, 22, Ahmad Kamel Naif Ekhlayyel, Hassan Walid Sabarna, 18, Amro Arafat Issa Za’aqeeq, 20, Mohammad Ghazi Issa Za’aqeeq, 23, Morhaf Mohammad Ali Sabarna, 18, Mustafa Mohammad Ali Ekhlayyel, Al-Khodeir Yousef Khdair Awad, 27, Ammar Yahia Abdullah Awad, 19, and Eyad Abdul-Hamid Mohsin Awad, 26.

Furthermore, the soldiers continued to set up their military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron and the various surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, in addition to closing several main and side roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, to hinder the movement of citizens throughout the governorate.

Earlier Wednesday morning, the Israeli army assassinated five Palestinians in an airstrike near the Al-Tawhid Mosque in Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

The five slain Palestinians have been officially identified as:

  1. Mohammad Sa’id Hussein Sawafta, 19.
  2. Majd Burhan Jamil Sawafta, 23.
  3. Qais Saeb Rateb Sawafta, 24.
  4. Yassin Ahmad Ali Sawafta, 22.
  5. Tolba Mahmoud Jamil Bisharat, 18.

On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed two Palestinian citizens, including a woman, and injured at least eight others in Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank

Medical sources at the Tulkarem Governmental Hospital identified one of the slain citizens as Ahmad Jamal Ahmad Majdouba, 25, Heba Shahada Mosleh Halawa, 21.

Israel has now killed 699 Palestinians, including 159 children, 10 women, 1 journalist, 2 medics and 14 detainees, from the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

In the devastated, besieged and starved Gaza Strip, Israel has now killed at least 41.020 Palestinians, including more than 16.673 children and 11.269 women, and injured more than 94.925, mostly children and women, in addition to the thousands (about 10.000) of missing Palestinians, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes, and buildings, and in destroyed alleys, across the Gaza Strip, since October 7. 2023.
