At dawn on Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted at least six citizens during invasions and violent military searches in Beit Ummar, Taffouh, Yatta, and Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part. They also invaded the nearby towns of Doura and Sa’ir.
Mohammad Ayyad Awad, a media activist in Beit Ummar, reported that Israeli forces invaded several neighborhoods in the town, including Al-Bayada, Al-Tarbiqa, and Al-Misrara before they searched several homes, tampered with their contents, and detained families in separate rooms.
Awad added that the soldiers abducted Yasser Karim Mohammad Ekhlayyel, 21, Mohammad Raed Ahmad Abdul Hamid Ekhlayyel, 20, and Bahaa Jamil Khalil ‘Aadi, 19, and took them to the “Etzion” military base and security center, north of Hebron.
Additionally, Ahmad Abdul Razzaq Khamaisa was abducted in Taffouh, west of Hebron, after soldiers stormed and searched his family’s home.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, the soldiers invaded Tiwana village, searched homes, and abducted a young man, Sami Al-Hreini.
In Hebron city, Saif Bassam Abu Aisha was abducted after soldiers invaded his family’s home in the Jabal Abu Rumman area and ransacked it.
In a related context, Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Doura, where they stormed several shops and a café, assaulted those inside, and fired at a car without causing injuries.
Israeli forces also set up several military roadblocks at the entrances of Hebron and its towns, villages, and refugee camps, closing several main and side roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
Also at dawn, the soldiers abducted five Palestinians from their homes in Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
In Bethlehem, invaded Tuqu’ town, east of the city, stormed and ransacked many homes, before abducting ten Palestinians and summoning two children for interrogation.
