On Tuesday, the Israeli army continued its military offensive in Jenin, located in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, burning several Palestinian homes.

Media sources reported that numerous armored military vehicles invaded the Jenin refugee camp, where soldiers set fire to multiple homes near Sa’adi Junction.

The assault caused extensive damage to residential properties and destroyed critical infrastructure within the camp and its surrounding areas.

The Israeli army launched its large-scale operation in Jenin 57 days ago, resulting in the deaths of 34 Palestinians, injuries to dozens, and the abduction of numerous residents.

The military has also bulldozed and demolished dozens of homes, inflicting severe damage on the camp’s infrastructure.

The invasions have also extended to nearby villages and towns, further escalating the destruction and displacement of residents.

Reports indicate that the ongoing offensive has displaced thousands of Palestinians, with Jenin’s infrastructure and economy suffering catastrophic damage.

Local officials have described the scale of destruction as unprecedented, with entire neighborhoods rendered uninhabitable.

In related news, Palestinian medical sources have confirmed that a former political prisoner, shot and injured prior to being abducted by Israeli soldiers, has succumbed to the severe wounds he sustained on February 2, 2024.

At dawn Tuesday, a young man was killed, and three others were injured, by Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, at dawn on Tuesday, the killing of Khaled Saleh Qaraan (25 years old), and the injury of three others, by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, during their raid into the city of Qalqilia.

Israel has now killed at least 942 Palestinians, including 180 children, in the occupied West Bank, since October 7. 2023.

According to Al-Jazeera, the Gaza Government Media Office updated the death toll to over 61,700, in the Gaza Strip, noting that thousands of Palestinians remain missing under the rubble and are presumed dead.

In a press briefing, the head of the Gaza Government Information Office revealed that the bodies of 76 percent of the deceased have been recovered and transported to medical centers. He added that more than 14,222 Palestinians remain trapped under the rubble in areas inaccessible to rescuers across the devastated Gaza Strip.
