On Tuesday night, Israeli forces shot and critically injured a Palestinian child after invading the town of Al-Yamoun, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 14-year-old child to the hospital after he was shot in the head with live ammunition in Al-Yamoun town.

The PRCS added that the child was taken to the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin city, suffering critical gunshot wound to the head.
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded the town and opened fire with many live rounds, shooting the child while he was in his home near a window.
In related news, the army shot and wounded a child and a journalist at the entrance to the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Dozens of Palestinians gathered, on Tuesday, at the entrance to the Nur Shams camp to demand their right to return to the homes after being forcibly displaced ten months ago.
On Sunday, the army killed a Palestinian child and injured two others, after storming the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
Occupation forces killed the child, Jadallah Jihad Jumaa Jadallah (15 years old) after shooting him and preventing ambulance crews from reaching him; the army continues to withhold the child’s body.
