On Sunday, Israeli soldiers invaded the Dyouk At-Tahta village, west of Jericho in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part and demolished two homes.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded the village, and surrounded the areas of the two homes, preventing the Palestinians from entering them.

They added that the soldiers demolished a home, owned by Abdul-Rauf Ezreiqat, and another home owned by a Palestinian from the Tahhan family, in addition to demolishing a retaining wall.

It is worth mentioning that, since the beginning of the onslaught on Gaza in October of 2023, the Israel army has escalated the demolition of homes and structures, and the uprooting of farmlands, in various parts of the West Bank.

The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission said Israel demolished 318 Palestinian structures in the West Bank in the first half of this year, and 313 structures in 2023.
