On Wednesday dawn, many Israeli military vehicles, including armored bulldozers, invaded the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part, and caused extensive infrastructure damage.
Medi assures said at least two armored Israeli military bulldozers, accompanied by many vehicles, invaded the refugee camp from the area of the Al-Hamra military roadblock.
They added that the soldiers then stormed homes and occupied rooftops to use as firing posts for their sharpshooters, while the bulldozers ravaged through the streets and alleys of the refugee camp.
The bulldozers destroyed streets, and infrastructure including water and electricity, and caused serious damage to many shops, especially in the Central Market of the refugee camp.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and the massive destruction before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs; the army withdrew after four hours.
It is worth mentioning that Palestinian resistance fighters also exchanged fire with the invading soldiers and detonating an explosive charge near one of their military jeeps.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Azzoun and Kufur Qaddoum towns, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, before the soldiers stormed and ransacked homes.
