On Wednesday dawn, several Israeli army jeeps invaded Jalboun village, east of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and injured dozens of Palestinians.
Ibrahim Abu Ar-Rob, the head of Jalboun Village Council, said the soldiers invaded the village, stormed and ransacked dozens of homes, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs and concussion grenades at them and many homes, causing scores of Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also closed several streets leading to the village with sand barriers and occupied the rooftop of the home of Emad Fahmi Abu Ar-Rob, using it as a military post and monitoring tower after raising an Israeli flag on it.
The Education Directorate in Jericho announced delaying the beginning of the school day until 9:30 to ensure the students’ safety.
Also on Wednesday dawn, the Health Ministry said a young man, Ata Yasser Ata Mousa, 29, from Marka village, south of Jenin, succumbed to serious wounds suffered In Jenin Tuesday when the soldiers killed three Palestinians.
The Health Ministry added that Ata was shot when the soldiers killed Mahmoud Ali Nafe’ Saadi, 23, Mahmoud Khaled Ar’arawi, 24, and Rafat Omar Khamaisa, 22, and injured 30 Palestinians, including some who suffered critical wounds in the Jenin refugee camp.
In the Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers killed Yousef Salem Yousef Radwan, 25, from Bani Soheila town, east of Khan Younis, in the Gaza Strip’s southern part.
