On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers injured many Palestinians in the Ath-Thaher area in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, in the West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the area, leading to protests, and fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
The sources added that many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation before receiving the needed treatment.
The army frequently invades Beit Ummar, especially since there is a permanent military base at the entrance of the town.
Also Monday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of a Palestinian child, who Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured on February 8th after the army invaded Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
The Health Ministry said the child, Montaser Mohamamd Thieb Shawwa, 16, was shot in the head and added that the bullet struck him behind his ear and exited through his mouth.
