On Sunday evening, Israeli soldiers attacked and injured two Palestinian teenage girl siblings in Kisan village, east of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Ahmad Ghazal, a local nonviolent activist against the illegal Israeli colonialist activities, said the soldiers attacked Raghad and Dina Mustafa Obeyyat, 14 and 13 years of age, causing several cuts and bruises.

Ghazal added that the soldiers assaulted the girls on Palestinian lands in Kisan, close to the illegal Ibei HaNahal colonialist outpost, installed on stolen Palestinian lands in 1999.

The army claimed that girls entered “Israeli state lands” and forced the girls to leave after assaulting and wounding them.

Attacks by Israeli soldiers and colonialist settlers have recently witnessed a serious escalation in Kisan and several other parts of the occupied West Bank.
