On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and abducted another in Tammoun town, south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern part.

Media sources said several army vehicles, including bulldozers, invaded Tubas city from its eastern area and headed to Tammoun town before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes.

The Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Yazid Rayeq Bisharat, 20, from his home, and added that this is the second time in the last few months the soldiers have abducted the young man to pressure his father into surrendering to the army.

It stated that the soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes in several parts of the town, causing damage.

Many Palestinians protested the invasion and the violations before the soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources have confirmed that the soldiers killed Osaid Jawad Bani Odah, 29, after shooting him in the back with live ammunition.

Palestinian fighters also exchanged fire with the invading soldiers and detonated an explosive charge near a military bulldozer.

The Israeli army used explosives and drones in several parts of the town, in addition to firing many flares over the town and several parts of the Tubas governorate for more than two hours.

It is worth mentioning that the army stormed and ransacked dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank, and abducted at least 27 Palestinians, including a cameraman working for WAFA Palestinian news agency.
