Israeli undercover forces infiltrated the town of Tammun, south of Tubas in the occupied West Bank’s northeastern area, before dawn on Sunday and opened fire on a Palestinian family’s vehicle, killing the father, mother, and two of their children, and injuring their other two children.
Local sources reported that an Israeli special unit entered the town shortly before 4 a.m., followed by large military reinforcements advancing from the Ein Shibli and Tayasir military roadblocks.

Moments later, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a civilian vehicle carrying members of the Bani Odah family.
Medical sources said the army killed Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odah, 37, his wife Wa’ed Othman Aqel Bani Odah, 35, and their two children, Mohammad, 5, and Othman, 7.
Their other children, Mustafa, 8, and Khaled, 11, were injured by shrapnel in the head and face.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Ali in the head, face, chest, and left arm, and shot his wife Wa’ed in the face and head. Their slain children were also shot in the face and head. They were moved to the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas.
Eyewitnesses told Quds News that the vehicle was ambushed inside the town and not at a military roadblock, and that no exchange of fire took place.
After killing the family, Israeli soldiers towed the bullet‑riddled Palestinian vehicle and took it to an unknown destination.
Residents said the car was struck by multiple rounds, consistent with targeted operations carried out by Israeli undercover units.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that its medics were prevented by Israeli soldiers from reaching the wounded.
The crews were forced away at gunpoint and barred from approaching the vehicle for more than twenty minutes. When allowed to return, medics recovered the bodies of the four family members and evacuated the two injured children.
Al‑Jazeera Arabic reported that the family was returning home when the undercover unit intercepted their vehicle. The Israeli army later claimed it was conducting an “arrest operation,” but provided no evidence that the family posed any threat.

Tammun has faced repeated invasions by Israeli forces in recent months, often involving undercover units, drones, and armored vehicles. Residents say the Bani Odah family was well known in the town and not involved in any armed activity.
In a separate incident during the same invasion, Israeli forces abducted Mahmoud Hasan Bani Odah and his son Hassan after invading their home.
The killing of the family adds to the rising number of Palestinians shot and killed during Israeli military invasions across the northern Jordan Valley and Tubas area, where lethal force has been used with increasing frequency.

During the attack, a third citizen Mohammad Hassan Murra, 55, died after arriving to the hospital in cardiac arrest after being exposed to tear gas fired by occupation forces, while three others were shot with live rounds, one in the head, one in the pelvis, and another in the shoulder.
