Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured a young Palestinian man on Saturday evening in the town of Doura, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern area.
Several Israeli military vehicles invaded the town, triggering protests, before soldiers fired live rounds, rubber‑coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the abdomen, causing life‑threatening wounds.
They added that several Palestinians, including children and women, suffered the effects of tear‑gas inhalation.
In related news, the soldiers shot a 16‑year‑old child with a live round in the back in the Nashash area of Al‑Khader, south of Bethlehem, before medics transferred him to a hospital.
