On Saturday, Israeli soldiers and settlers injured several Palestinians, including a child and an elderly woman, in addition to foreign activists, in the Hebron, Ramallah, and Jericho governorates of the occupied West Bank.

Occupation forces invaded towns of Bani Na’im and Beit Ummar, east and north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, shooting a young man and injuring several others, on Saturday afternoon.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Bani Na’im, sparking protests with local Palestinian youths, while soldiers opened fire with live rounds, shooting a 30-year-old man in the hand.

The same source added that the army invaded the Beit Za’ta neighborhood in the town of Beit Ummar, sparking protests from local youths. Soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades, causing several citizens to sustain inhalation injuries.

Additionally, Israeli forces stormed the Jabal al-Rahma and Karantina neighborhoods in Beit Ummar, erected two flying military roadblocks, while searching citizens’ vehicles and inspecting their ID cards.

Meanwhile, on Saturday evening, illegal colonizers assaulted and injured an an elderly Palestinian woman and two female international activists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Osama Makhamreh, a local anti-settlement activist, told the WAFA News Agency that armed paramilitary settlers, under army protection, assaulted and injured an elderly woman and two foreign female activists, causing bruises; they were all transported to the Yatta Governmental Hospital.

Makhamreh added that the settlers vandalized citizens’ water tanks, destroyed fodder, stole property and attempted to steal livestock.

Furthermore, a child was injured during a military incursion on Saturday night, in the city of Jericho, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance crews transported a 12-year-old child to the hospital for treatment, after he was run over by an army vehicle in Jericho city.

Moreover, a group of illegal colonizers assaulted a Palestinian child near Beitunia, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Media sources attacked a gathering of Palestinian Bedouin citizens in the Ein Jaryut area near Beitunia, and brutally assaulted a child until he lost consciousness; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Sources also reported that a group of illegal settlers stormed the Al-Hamma community in the northern Jordan Valley, threatening citizens and assaulting a Palestinian man and his son.

In related news, several Palestinian citizens confronted and deterred Israeli colonizers from storming the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Media sources reported that settlers attempted to invade a citizen’s home in the Yatmawi area, on the outskirts of the town, while local citizens confronted and repelled them.

At the same time, occupation forces stormed the western part of Beita town, which sparked protests from local citizens. Soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion; no injuries were reported.
