On Monday, Israeli forces shot five Palestinians, including two children, three near Ramallah in the central West Bank, and two others near Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that occupation forces invaded the village of Shuqba, northwest of Ramallah, on Monday evening, opening fire with live rounds towards citizens and assaulting a number of them.

Sources added that the army stormed the village, shooting the child, Abdul Rahman Thabet, 17, in the abdomen with live ammunition; he was transported to the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah for treatment.

An undetermined number of young men sustained injuries as a result of occupation forces’ assault.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli soldiers shot two other citizens; the conditions of the wounded were not known at the time of writing this report.

Meanwhile, the Quds News Network reported that occupation forces invaded the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, adding that Israeli forces damaged a number of citizens’ vehicles.


Furthermore, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Monday night, amid heavy gunfire, shooting a young man and a child.

Media sources reported that the army invaded Beita town, sparking protests among local Palestinians, while firing many live rounds.


According to Amid Ahmed, the Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Red Crescent in Nablus, its ambulance crews transported two citizens to hospital after they sustained live gunshot wounds.

Ahmed added that a 17-year-old child was shot in the thigh and pelvis and a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg; their conditions were not known at the time of writing of this report.

In related news, the army shot two Palestinian children, 15 and 13, with live ammunition after invading the village of Odala, south of Nablus on Monday evening.
