On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers shot one Palestinian with live fire and abducted twenty-one Palestinians, including a woman and two schoolgirls, in several parts of the Hebron governorate in the southern part of the occupied West Bank. The soldiers also abducted a young woman in Bethlehem.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded Sa’ir town, northeast of Hebron, searched and ransacked dozens of homes, and abducted Ahmad Mousa Jaradat, Odah Hussein Jaradat, Ahmad Ayman Jaradat, Soheib Ala’ Jaradat, Abdul-Mon’em Khalil Jaradat, Majd Abdul-Ghaffar Jaradat, Rashad Yousef Jaradat, Anas Mohammad Jaradat, Haitham Amjad Jaradat, Bilal Edrees Jaradat, Qoteiba Edrees Jaradat, Alauddin Shalalda, Omar Thiab Al-Froukh, Omar Ghannam Al-Froukh, Rabea’ Hasan Al- Froukh, and Jalal Mustafa Jabarin.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and the violent searches of homes before the soldiers shot a young man with live fire in his leg before Palestinian medics rushed him to Alia hospital in Hebron city.
In the Shiokh town, northeast of Hebron, the soldiers searched several homes and abducted Raed Mahmoud Halayqa, Mohammad Adnan Halayqa, Mohammad Ahmad Saqqawi, and Adham Aziz Hasasna.
In Beit Kahil town, northwest of Hebron, the soldiers abducted a Palestinian writer who works for Hebron University, Shahd Mohammad Al-Asafra, from her home and a schoolgirl, Angham Yousef Asafra.
In Doura town, south of Hebron, the soldiers abducted a schoolgirl, Jenin Mohammad Amro, from her home in the town.
In related news, the soldiers abducted a university student, Omaima Sayel Al-Wahsh, 22, from her home in the Al-Obeyyat area east of Bethlehem and invaded many towns and areas, including Janata, Harmala, Hindaza, Rafeeda and Jabal Al-Mawaleh.
