Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man, on Monday night, in the city of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, and stormed towns and villages in the northern West Bank governorates of Jenin and Nablus.

Media sources said that occupation forces shot a young man in the chest during their military incursion into Tulkarem; was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital.

Sources added that the young man is a citizen of the Thanaba suburb, east of the city, and that his injuries were deemed moderate to serious.

In the evening, Israeli military units stormed the city of Tulkarem from its western axis, and invaded a commercial store selling agricultural fertilizers near the entrance to the Tulkarem refugee camp.


Meanwhile, in the northern West Bank, the army invaded the village of Jalbun, east of Jenin, and conducted a search operation on Monday evening.

According to Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, the head of the Jalbun Village Council, occupation forces stormed the village, erected a flying military roadblock at its entrance and stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles and ID cards.

Furthermore, on Monday evening, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Qabalan and Qusra, south and southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Media sources said that in conjunction with the storming of the two towns, occupation forces facilitated and protected illegal settlers who invaded the town of Qusra; no protests were reported.
