Israeli forces, on Wednesday, shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition near the southern West Bank city of Hebron and caused many students and citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation near Bethlehem.
On Wednesday evening Israeli forces stormed the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, through the sole entrance to the camp.
Soldiers proceeded to erect a military roadblock and stopped citizens’ vehicles, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.
Israeli troops opened fire with live rounds towards those who resisted the incursion, injuring one Palestinian young man.
The young man was shot in the foot and transported to a nearby health center where his injury was described as moderate.
In related news, the army invaded Al-Khader town, southwest of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, on Wednesday morning.
Soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades towards the Flowers of Hope School and citizens’ homes, causing many students and citizens to suffer inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure.
All of the injuries were treated at the scene by local medics.
Moreover, media sources reported that occupation forces attacked the Jalud Mixed Basic School, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Soldiers fired concussion grenades at the school while students were taking exams. There were no reports of injuries.
