On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man at the Huwwara military roadblock, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the Palestinian, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, was shot at the roadblock before the soldiers closed the area.
They added that Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics (PRCS) rushed to the roadblock, but the soldiers refused to allow them to reach the wounded young man.
The soldiers then detained the wounded young man and took him to an unknown destination after closing the entire area.
The Israeli army claims a soldier “neutralized and arrested” the Palestinian when he reportedly approached the roadblock “while carrying a knife before the soldiers fired in the air before shooting him.”
