Early Wednesday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian teenage boy with live ammunition during protests that erupted after several military vehicles invaded the town of Halhul, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Media reported that several military jeeps invaded the town before the soldiers closed several streets, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers fired live rounds and sound bombs at the Palestinians, wounding a teenage boy with a live round in the leg.

The wounded teen was rushed to a hospital in Hebron, where his wounds have been described as moderate.

In related news, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Saqer Abu Arra, 22, from his home in Aqaba town, north of Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a young man, Hani Dirbas, from his home in Al-Isawiya town, northeast of the city.

The soldiers also installed roadblocks on streets near the Hizma military roadblock, northeast of Jerusalem, and obstructed traffic at the Jaba’ military roadblock near Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

At dawn on Wednesday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinians in Ramallah and Qalqilia Governorate, and invaded Salfit, in the occupied West Bank.
