On Friday, Israeli forces shot four Palestinians, including a child with live ammunition, assaulted two, injured dozens more, and abducted three, in various regions of the occupied West Bank.
Jenin
On Friday evening, occupation forces stormed the villages of Jalboun and Faqqu’a, east and northeast of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Soldiers erected a flying military roadblock at the entrance of Jalboun village east of Jenin, stopped and searched vehicles, while checking the identities of drivers and passengers.
Soldiers assaulted a Palestinian citizen, and fired concussion grenades at citizens who protested the incursion.
At the same time, Israeli army vehicles roamed the streets of Faqqu’a village, northeast of the city.
Tulkarem
On Friday afternoon, the Israeli army invaded the town of Qaffin, northeast of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
Soldiers stormed the central and the southern neighborhoods of the town, deploying foot patrols in the streets, and carrying out a wide-scale search operation, while firing live rounds.
It was added that the army confiscated surveillance camera recordings from local commercial shops. No arrests or injuries were reported.
Qalqilia
Israeli occupation forces attacked, on Friday, hundreds of citizens at the weekly anti-settlement procession in the village of Kufur Qaddoum east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
According to Morad Eshteiwi, the media spokesman for the popular resistance, the army opened fire with live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters at participants.
He added that soldiers shot two young men in the thigh with live ammunition, causing moderate injuries, before they were transported to hospital for medical intervention.
In addition, Eshteiwi stated that dozens of citizens including women and children, sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure. They were treated at the scene by local medics.
Tubas
On Friday evening Israeli soldiers detained two Palestinian young men when they tried to pass through the Tayasir checkpoint east of the city of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, soldiers detained Ayham Aida and Mahmoud Daraghmeh for several hours.
Nablus
Occupation forces stormed, on Friday afternoon, the village of Madama, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
According to Wajih Kat, the head of the Madama Village Council, stated that Israeli soldiers invaded the village, sparking protests among local youths.
Kat added that occupation forces fired many live rounds and tear gas canisters and shot a Palestinian young man in the leg.
The Israeli army maintains a tight siege on the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, according to the mayor, Salah Jaber.
Jaber said that soldiers closed the entrances to the town, prevented citizens from entering or exiting, invaded many homes and interrogated residents.
He added that soldiers abducted, at dawn Friday, three Gaza workers who were in the town, identified as Ziad Al-Feirani, his son Adham, and Mahmoud Fouad Mahmoud Al-Feirani.
Occupied Jerusalem
On Friday night, Israeli forces invaded Al-‘Isawiya town north of occupied Jerusalem, leading to protests among local Palestinian youths.
Sources said that the army fired tear gas canisters and incendiary bombs at citizens and their homes. There were no reports of any injuries.
Bethlehem
The occupation army invaded, on Friday afternoon, the town of Tuqu’ south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, sparking protests.
Soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades and tear gas canisters towards those who resisted the incursion. No injuries were reported.
Hebron
Israeli occupation forces invaded Sa’ir town, northeast of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, leading to protests.
Soldiers fired many live rounds, and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion, and shot a 17-year-old child in the abdomen with live ammunition. The child was transported to hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, at the entrance to the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, southwest of the city, soldiers opened fire with tear gas canisters at local youths who resisted the incursion, causing several citizens to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
Furthermore, in the town of Dura, southwest of the city, the occupation army brutally assaulted two Palestinian young men and confiscated their vehicle, before they were transported to hospital.
On Friday evening, the Israeli army evicted Palestinian citizens from their home in the village of Karma, southwest of Hebron, and turned it into a military post.
Soldiers stormed the home of Izz al-Din al-Awawda while his family was away from the home, raised the flag of the occupying state over it, and prevented the eight family members from entering the home.
