Israeli forces shot and injured, at dawn Monday, four Palestinian young men, one of them seriously, before abducting the other three, and assaulted a paramedic, in the northern West Bank town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.
Media sources said that soldiers, stationed at the nearby “Dotan” military roadblock, located at the entrance to the illegal “Mevo Dotan” colony, opened fire at four Palestinian young men, while they were in a cafe at the intersection of Ya’bad town and the village of Kvert.
Soldiers shot and injured the four young men with live rounds, and caused one of them to sustain critical gunshot wounds.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the seriously wounded young man was shot in the chest and abdomen, and transported to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin.
Israeli forces abducted three of the injured young men, identified as, Ali Hassan Abu Bakr, Wissam Bassam Harzallah from Ya’bad, and Hassan Murshid Suleiman from Ajjah village, southwest of the city.
It was added that the army stormed Ya’bad town after the abductions, and seized the vehicle belonging to one of the young men, sparking protests among the local Palestinian youths.

Soldiers assaulted one of the Palestinian paramedics with their rifle butts, while he attempted to provide medical treatment to the injured young men, causing him to sustain hand fractures and minor injuries.
Meanwhile, in the village of Rummanah, northwest of Jenin, occupation forces invaded a number of homes of former prisoners, ransacking them, in addition to detaining and interrogating a number of young men, before releasing them.
