Earlier Tuesday, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian child in the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
Media sources said the soldiers shot Wasim Mohammad Nassar, 15, before Palestinian medics rushed to the area, but the soldiers prevented them from reaching the wounded child.
Later on, an Israeli ambulance arrived at the scene and took the child away, the sources added.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the main entrance area of the refugee camp and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and surrounding buildings.
The army also closed several roads and prevented the Palestinians from crossing after searching many cars and interrogating the residents while inspecting their ID cards.
