On Monday, Israeli soldiers shot six Palestinians including a child and a woman, and abducted two, including the injured woman in separate areas of the occupied West Bank.

Tulkarem

Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man at the Anabta military roadblock east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that soldiers blocked ambulances from reaching the injured young man and closed the roadblock in both directions, impeding citizens’ movement.


The severity of the young man’s wounds were not known at the time of writing this report.

Jenin

Occupation forces stormed the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, invaded a café, assaulted two young men, and interrogated others.

At the entrance to the town, the army erected a military roadblock, stopped and searching vehicles, and inspected the identities of their occupants.

After opening fire at a citizen’s vehicle in the town, soldiers seized the vehicle in addition to confiscating a forklift.

Later, soldiers invaded the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, triggering protests among local Palestinian youths.

In response to resistance, the army fired live rounds and concussion grenades, shooting a young man in the thigh with live ammunition; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

Later, the army invaded the town of Arraba, southwest of Jenin, broke into a commercial shop, and assaulted a young man with their rifle butts.

Several citizens’ homes were stormed and searched, and their residents were assaulted.

Nablus

In the northern West Bank town of Beit Furik, Israeli soldiers invaded the town and fired live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades, sparking protests.

Soldiers shot a young man in the shoulder with live ammunition for which he was transported to hospital.

Northwest of the city, soldiers invaded the village of Beit Imrin, broke into and ransacked the home of Muwaffaq Samara, and abducted his son Bahaa.

Many military jeeps invaded several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, while sharpshooters were positioned in the vicinity of the Old City.

According to Ahmad Jibril, the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, soldiers shot two Palestinians, including a child, in Nablus city.

Ramallah & Al-Biereh

Near the illegal “Psagot” colony, built on the stolen lands of Al-Biereh in the central West Bank, Israeli forces shot an unidentified Palestinian woman with live rounds before abducting her.
