On Sunday night, Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers invaded Burqa village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, leading to protests, before the army shot six Palestinians with live fire, injuring one seriously.
Sayel Kanaan, the head of the Burqa Village Council, said the colonizers and the soldiers invaded the village from the western and the northern areas.
Kanaan added that the paramilitary colonizers burnt a barn, owned by Nitham Ali Ma’tan, and attempted to burn his home.
He also said that the colonizers attacked homes in the northern area of the village, and tried to break into them, in addition to firing many live rounds.
Israeli soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, wounding six Palestinians with live fire.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that one Palestinian suffered a serious gunshot wound to the chest and added that two Palestinians were shot in their chest and suffered moderate injuries, in addition to one Palestinian who was mildly injured.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli soldiers stopped Palestinian firefighters while heading to the burnt property while the paramilitary colonizers assaulted the locals who reached the fire and started extinguishing it.
In addition, a group of paramilitary colonizers invaded the Ein Al-Hilwa area in the West Bank’s Northern Plains, attacked the Ein the Ein Al-Hilwa Bedouin community, closed surrounding streets, and hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Harmala village, southeast of Bethlehem, surrounding a mosque, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades.
In Hebron, in the West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of the city, stormed and ransacked homes, before detaining two Palestinians and causing damage to a car they were riding.
