Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinian young men in Al-Yamoun town, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, in addition to shooting a child in Tamoun town, near Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

At dawn Wednesday, Israeli forces stormed Al-Yamoun town, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, breaking into and searching many homes.

Soldiers besieged a home and demanded a young man to surrender himself, while protests erupted among local Palestinian young men.

The army opened fire at those who resisted the incursion with live rounds and tear gas canisters, shooting two young men. The nature and severity of their wounds were not known at the time of writing this report.

Armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the army in the village of Kafr Dan, near Al-Yamoun town, and in Al-Jalama village, north of the city.


Meanwhile, Israeli forces in several military vehicles, including a military bulldozer, invaded the city of Tubas and the town of Tamoun, south of the city, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.


At dawn Wednesday, a large army force, stormed Tamoun town, leading to protests among Palestinian youths who hurled rocks at the armored vehicles.


Armed resistance fighters exchanged live fire with the army who fired live rounds at those who resisted the attack.




Occupation bulldozers roamed the alleys and caused damage to at least two Palestinian-owned homes in the town.

Media sources added that soldiers shot a 16-year-old child with live ammunition and transported to the Turkish Tubas Governmental Hospital.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society in Tubas, the army abducted the woman, Laila Fandi, in an attempt to pressure her husband, the former prisoner, Hani Ali Hamad Bani Odeh, to turn himself in.

Similarly, soldiers abducted the young man, Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Sadiq Bisharat, in an effort to coerce his brother, a former prisoner, Raeq Bisharat, to turn himself in.

Sources added that the army assaulted a young man who is the son of the former prisoner, Raeq Bisharat.
