Early Monday morning, many Israeli military jeeps invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp south of Jericho in the occupied West Bank northeastern part, shot two Palestinian children, abducted a young man, and caused damage to many cars and homes.
Media sources said the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes, causing damage, and also detonated the main door of one home before storming it.
The soldiers conducted violent searches of the invaded homes and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards before abducting a young man, Mohammad Hmeidat Sahriyya, and a child, Abdul-Rahman Omar Hanafiyya, 16.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and violations before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Some of the Israeli gas bombs and live rounds struck homes, causing property damage.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot two children live fire in their lower extremities before the medics rushed them to a hospital in Jericho.
Furthermore, the soldiers damaged, including serious fire damage, to many Palestinian cars in the refugee camp.
On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eleven Palestinians from the Hebron governorate in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
