In a serious escalation, Israeli forces killed two Palestinians, on Saturday, including a child, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin. Occupation soldiers shot a young man near Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank and another citizen near occupied Jerusalem.

Ahmad Saed Shehada Zayyoud, 22

Media sources reported that occupation soldiers shot and killed the young man Ahmad Saed Shehada Zayyoud, 22, on Saturday evening, during a military operation in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that their ambulance crews transported a seriously wounded young man to the hospital after he was shot by Israeli soldiers in the town of Silat al-Harithiya.


The PRCS added that its ambulance crews performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the young man after he was shot in the chest with live ammunition; he was later pronounced dead as a result of critical injuries.

In a simultaneous invasion, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian child after shooting him and denying him medical treatment in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, on Saturday evening.

Rayyan Mohammad Abdul-Qader Abu Mo’alla, 16
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the child Rayyan Mohammad Abdul-Qader Abu Mo’alla, 16, died of gunshot wounds inflicted on him by occupation soldiers in Qabatiya town.

Media sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya, and deployed infantry units throughout the town, firing live rounds at Palestinian civilians.


The sources added that after shooting the child with live ammunition, Israeli troops blocked ambulance crews from approaching him, causing him to succumb to his wounds. The soldiers then proceeded to seize the body of the slain child.

Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon, the army shot a Palestinian citizen at the entrance to the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Media sources reported that Israeli forces stationed in the Nur Shams refugee camp, opened fire at a young man near the western entrance of the camp, shooting him in the leg; he was transported to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem city.

Furthermore, Israeli forces shot and wounded a Palestinian citizen of Jenin, while he was near the Apartheid wall in the town of Ar-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources reported that occupation forces opened fire towards a 52-year-old man in the leg with live ammunition while he was near the Apartheid wall in Ar-Ram town; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.

In related news, Israeli forces seriously wounded a Palestinian young man before dawn Saturday, after shooting him in the head with live ammunition during a military operation in the village of Qarawat Bani Zeid, northwest of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces have killed 1101 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, including 229 children and 24 women.

In the Jenin governorate, 310 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 138 in Nablus, 105 in Hebron, 98 in Tubas, 81 in Ramallah, 60 in Jerusalem, 42 in Qalqilia, 34 in Bethlehem, 13 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 7 in Salfit, according to the Shireen Observatory.

In the Gaza Strip, the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 has increased to 70,925, including women and children, while at least 171,185 Palestinians have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of Israel’s military onslaught.
