Israeli forces continued their military offensive on Jenin and Jenin refugee camp in the northern part of the occupied West Bank for the 79th consecutive day, marked by widespread destruction and forced displacement.

Early Wednesday, soldiers intensified their offensive, carrying out demolitions, setting homes ablaze, and transforming others into military bases.

Live ammunition was fired indiscriminately throughout the empty refugee camp, as its residents were previously forced to flee their homes under duress.

Israeli military bulldozers continued leveling streets and damaging infrastructure, further erasing the camp’s identity.

On Tuesday, a 25-year-old man was shot in the head by soldiers during an invasion of the Al-Hadaf neighborhood near the refugee camp, where troops reportedly fired randomly, creating chaos and fear.

Additionally, the Israeli army detonated a house in the heart of the refugee camp, with plumes of smoke billowing from its ruins.

The situation intensified as military reinforcements, including armored vehicles, bulldozers, and additional soldiers, were deployed to Jenin and its refugee camp from the Al-Jalama military roadblock.

Foot patrols have been stationed in areas such as Al-Ghabaz and Wadi Burqin, destroying streets, demolishing Palestinian homes, and altering the camp’s landscape.

Approximately 21,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from Jenin refugee camp, creating a worsening humanitarian situation.

The displaced individuals have lost their homes, belongings, sources of income, and access to essential services, deepening their suffering.

Reports indicate that 600 houses have been destroyed, while nearly 3,000 housing units have been rendered uninhabitable due to the military assault. Poverty rates have surged in Jenin, as displaced families struggle to recover their livelihoods.

Since the beginning of the offensive, 36 Palestinians have been killed in Jenin Governorate. Israeli forces have also continued extensive daily invasions into surrounding villages and towns, abducting dozens of Palestinians as part of an ongoing campaign to suppress resistance.

On Tuesday, an Israeli soldier shot and killed a Palestinian woman near Salfit, in the occupied West Bank’s central region.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the soldiers killed Amana Ibrahim Mohammad Yacoub, 30, near a traffic light at the entrance of Hares village, west of Salfit.

Also, an elderly Palestinian man died of a heart attack on Tuesday, while Israeli forces carried out a demolition operation in the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that the elderly citizen, Ghazi Badr Mufreh Manasra (70 years old) died after suffering a heart attack when occupation forces assaulted the owners of the targeted homes.

Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have now killed 119 Palestinians, including 21 children and seven women, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, since the beginning of this year.

The army has killed 51 Palestinians in Jenin, 20 in Tubas, 15 in Nablus, 14 in Tulkarem, 5 in Hebron, 4 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilia, 3 in Jerusalem, 2 in Ramallah, and 2 in Salfit.
