Updated: Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive invasions across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Sunday, breaking into homes, abducting dozens of Palestinians, wounding at least three, and triggering armed confrontations in the Old City of Nablus in the northern West Bank, where the Israeli military later acknowledged that one soldier was injured.

Bethlehem in the Southern West Bank: Local sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and abducted twelve residents after breaking into several homes and deploying across multiple neighborhoods.

Those abducted were identified as: Ghannam Abdul Rahman Deeriyya (22), Ali Eyad Ali Deeriyya (20), Mahmoud Falah Ubaidallah Thawabta (23), Mahmoud Jalal Mousa Taqatqa (22), 12‑year‑old Saifuddin Khaled Ibrahim Deeriyya, Fadi Emad Issa Deeriyya (24), Mahmoud Ibrahim Thawabta (28), and Imad Mohammad al‑Kar Thawabta (45).

The same sources added that four former detainees were also abducted: Murad Ahmad Mahmoud Taqatqa, Atef Mohammad al‑Kar (30), Majdi Mohammad al‑Kar (32), and Fadi Mahmoud Taqatqa (33).

Tulkarem in the Northwestern West Bank: Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the town of Qaffin in the northwestern West Bank and abducted three young men—Nur Kittana, Abboud Kittana, and Abed Milmel—after breaking into their homes.

Ramallah in the Central West Bank: Israeli forces also invaded Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and abducted Abdullah Atta Qurt from his home.

Later at dawn, soldiers again invaded Beitunia and abducted two residents—Abdullah Atta Qurt and Asim Atta Ibrahim—after breaking into their homes and ransacking their contents.

Separately, Israeli forces invaded several villages northeast of Ramallah, including Kafr Malik, al‑Mughayyer, and Abu Falah, firing stun grenades and tear gas. No injuries or abductions were reported.

Nablus in the Northern West Bank: Armed confrontations erupted in the Old City of Nablus after an undercover Israeli unit infiltrated the Yasmina neighborhood.

Palestinian fighters discovered the unit and opened fire, prompting the Israeli military to deploy large reinforcements. The military later acknowledged that one soldier was injured during the clashes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that three Palestinian youths were shot a short while ago by Israeli forces in the al-Yasmina quarter of the Old City of Nablus.

The PRCS added that two of the injured—aged 18 and 26—were struck in the thigh and foot. They were transferred to Rafidia Hospital, where their conditions were described as stable.

A third young man was wounded by a rubber-coated metal bullet to the shoulder on al-Basha Street.
The Israeli military’s invasion of the Old City remains ongoing, marked by confrontations, the detention of journalists and paramedics, and the firing of live ammunition toward residents.

Local sources said the undercover unit had also infiltrated the Qaryoun neighborhood before Israeli armored vehicles invaded the city from multiple directions, advancing toward the Old City and surrounding areas. Soldiers spread through several alleys and the eastern market as live fire echoed across the area.

Israeli forces abducted two residents from inside the Old City—Luay Sha’ban and Hamido Zakari. Video footage showed members of the undercover unit withdrawing under heavy fire. Later, forces again abducted Hamido Zakari during the ongoing operations.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli forces held several worshippers inside a mosque in the Yasmina neighborhood since dawn, with coordination underway with the International Committee of the Red Cross to secure their release.

Palestinian Medical Relief Society director Ghassan Hamdan said a family narrowly survived after their vehicle came under fire near the Old City.

Tubas in the Northeastern West Bank: Israeli forces also invaded the al‑Far’a refugee camp south of Tubas, positioning themselves at its entrance and firing stun grenades.

Hebron in the Southern West Bank: Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, abducted a resident, seized his vehicle, and assaulted another resident after breaking into and searching several homes.

In a related development, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers released their livestock near Palestinian homes in Khirbet Umm al‑Khair, near Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, while others invaded Khirbet al‑Markaz and conducted provocative tours. Palestinians confronted colonizers attempting to invade the al‑Khalla area and forced them to withdraw.
