The Health Ministry stated that six Palestinians, including a newborn, have died from malnutrition in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours.
Israeli military strikes killed three civilians and injured others on Monday evening in the northwestern region of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources said the attack specifically targeted individuals waiting for humanitarian aid. The casualties were transferred to the Shifa Hospital, in Gaza city.
In a separate incident, a child was shot by an Israeli drone while awaiting aid along with other starving residents east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Additionally, several civilians sustained injuries in a strike near Al-Da‘wa Mosque, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
The attack came shortly after another bombing killed a woman, and injured several Palestinians, in the northern area of the refugee camp.

Two Palestinians were also killed, and many injured, in an Israeli bombing of an area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Also, two civilians were killed and others injured on Monday evening following an Israeli airstrike targeting residents in the northern part of Gaza City.
According to field reports, Israeli aircraft struck a group of civilians in the Al-Twam area, resulting in two confirmed fatalities and multiple injuries.
Furthermore, two Palestinians were killed, and several others injured, in an Israeli bombing of an apartment, west of Halhoul Junction, in the northwestern part of Gaza city,
In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, the army bombarded a tent, housing a displaced family in the northwestern part of the city, killing five and causing many injuries.
At least five Palestinians were killed, and several others injured, in an Israeli bombing of the Twam area, northwest of Gaza city.
The army also bombarded a home near the Al-Baidar area, southwest of Gaza city, causing casualties.
Also, a medical source at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza city told Al-Jazeera that one Palestinian was killed, and several others injured, in an Israeli bombing of the Court Street in Shuja’iyya neighborhood, while another Palestinian was killed in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.
Earlier medical sources confirmed the death of seven Palestinians and many injuries in an Israeli bombing of the neighborhood.
In Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, the army bombarded Camp 2 area, killing at least one Palestinian and causing many injuries.
Furthermore, eight Palestinian civilians were fatally shot, and several others wounded earlier Monday, while gathering at an aid distribution point on Salahuddin Street, south of Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip, after Israeli soldiers fired barrages of live rounds.
Separately, a young man and a woman were killed, and nearly 20 others injured near an aid center north of Rafah, Gaza’s southmost part, following another Israeli attack.
Also, medical sources in the Gaza Strip have reported the deaths of five adults due to famine and severe malnutrition, with cases registered across local hospitals in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of confirmed fatalities linked to hunger and malnutrition in Gaza to 180, including 93 children.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen under a tightened blockade and severe shortages of food and medical supplies.
UNRWA has warned that child malnutrition, particularly among children under five, has doubled between March and June, driven by the ongoing blockade and insufficient humanitarian access.
The World Health Organization echoed these concerns, stating that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels. The agency noted that the deliberate obstruction of aid and prolonged siege have led to significant loss of life, with nearly one in five children under five in Gaza now suffering from acute malnutrition.
On its part, the Palestinian Health Ministry said the number of victims at what have become known as “death traps,” areas where civilians gather for aid only to be targeted, has now exceeded 1,000 fatalities and approximately 7,000 injuries. Dozens more remain missing. These figures have been tracked since May 27.

It sounded the alarm over a troubling increase in cases of acute flaccid paralysis and Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) among children, linked to atypical infections compounded by the worsening crisis of severe malnutrition, and added that three fatalities have been officially recorded due to GBS.
Laboratory tests have revealed the presence of enteroviruses unrelated to polio, indicating the emergence of a highly conducive environment for the uncontrolled spread of infectious diseases.
Two of the recorded deaths were of children under the age of 15. Medical efforts to save them failed due to the absence of lifesaving treatments, an outcome attributed to the ongoing blockade and lack of medical supplies.
“This is not merely a series of deaths,” medical sources warned, “but a harbinger of a potentially catastrophic epidemic.”
On Monday, trucks carrying blood units and essential medical consumables are scheduled to enter hospitals across the Gaza Strip via the World Health Organization (WHO).
“There is always the fear—fear of more bombing, fear of losing someone, fear of being ordered to move again.”

Medical sources confirmed that these shipments do not include food items. However, the supplies enroute are of urgent importance and vital to sustaining life-saving care for the wounded and ill.
Just two days prior, WHO facilitated the entry of trucks loaded with medications and additional medical necessities into Gaza’s hospitals, part of the organization’s continued humanitarian response to the deadly health crisis in the besieged enclave.
Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza military since October 7, 2023, the Palestinians have endured unprecedented devastation, constant bombing and a deadly siege.
Meanwhile, talking to Al-Jazeera, Enas Hamdan, Head of the Media Office for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza, said: “There is a severe shortage of essential medicines across the Strip. Children have limited access to a diverse range of nutritious food. Half a million people in Gaza are unable to secure basic dietary necessities. Hospitals are facing a critical lack of life-saving medications.
Even our staff are struggling to meet their daily food needs due to the blockade.”
In related news, Palestinian media outlets have reported statements by former Australian prosecutor Graham Blewitt, affirming the abundance of evidence pointing to Israel’s perpetration of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In an interview with Australia’s SBS News, Blewitt, who previously served on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, stated: “If I were leading the International Criminal Court, I would not hesitate to draft an indictment against Israeli leaders.”
He further emphasized, “Few things are as revealing as the public statements made by certain Israeli officials expressing a desire to erase Palestinians from existence.”
Israeli has now killed at least 60,933 Palestinians, and injured more than 150,927, most of them children and women. These figures remain provisional, as many victims are still trapped under the rubble or in inaccessible areas, beyond the reach of overwhelmed emergency teams.
