On Wednesday, Israeli forces abducted four Palestinians near the central West Bank city of Ramallah and occupied Jerusalem, and confiscated a citizen’s vehicle.
In the central West Bank, the occupation army invaded the town of ‘Abwein and the “Al-Rayhan” suburb, north of Ramallah, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers fired live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters without any reports of any injuries.
In ‘Abwein town, the army abducted the young men, Walid Hussein Al-Qubaisi and the former prisoner, Majdi Hussein Al-Qubaisi, and confiscated his privately-owned vehicle.
Meanwhile, soldiers abducted the young man, Ahmed Dargham Abu Ramadan, from his home in the “Al-Rayhan” suburb.
Furthermore, the army invaded the “Jabal Al-Tawil” neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah, triggering protests.
On Wednesday afternoon, soldiers opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades towards Palestinian youths who resisted the incursion; there were no injuries reported.
Northwest of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli troops broke into and searched the home of Sajid Yasser Jamil Aflaqa, in Beit Surik town, before abducting him.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,305 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
