Israeli forces killed two Palestinian citizens and injured two others, on Monday, in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
Media sources said that on Monday evening, the body of an unidentified citizen arrived at the Gaza European Hospital, near Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip after being transported by truck drivers working at the Kerem Abu Salem crossing.
Meanwhile, two wounded citizens arrived at the Gaza European Hospital after Israeli sharpshooters targeted them with live rounds in the Al-Awda area of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, in the morning, occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian after opening fire with live rounds at citizens in the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, 19 slain and 15 injured Palestinians arrived at various hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Media sources said that among the bodies that arrived in hospitals, 14 were citizens who were recovered from under the rubble, 2 were citizens who succumbed to serious injuries, and 3 who were killed by occupation forces in the past 24 hours.
Sources added that 15 citizens sustained injuries inflicted on them by the army in the past 24 hours.
Since the beginning of its military onslaught against the besieged Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed 48,208 Palestinian citizens, most of whom were women and children, and wounded 111,655, while thousands of victims remain under the ruins of bombed buildings.
It is important to mention that occupation forces, beginning on Sunday and continued on Monday, to withdraw from the Netzarim corridor connecting the northern and southern Gaza Strip, within the ceasefire agreement.
